Project impact on host institution

The curriculum and courses that will be developed within the 5-year Program will imply interdisciplinary and system approach to studying the main problems of environment and human interaction in the context of Sustainable Development. Students will obtain knowledge complex on three aspects of sustainable development: society, environment and economic-technological. The curriculum and courses will be oriented towards formation of habits for system approach in research and solving sustainable development problems, as well as abilities to correctly assess current and future environment consequences of the decisions made.

Dissemination of information on sustainable development methodology between students, faculties, professionals, authorities and interested public will be carried out through the elaborated program Web portal and publications in local and international editions.

The realization of the Sustainable Development interdisciplinary approach will not be sufficient without the deep study and introduction of the leading US professors’ experience and know-how. The university will accumulate experience in students’ interdisciplinary training.

 Implementation of the present project proposal will be a significant contribution to Sustainable Development education in Ukraine
